Day 1 - Arrival in Marrakesh

pexels-pawel-fijalkowski-521807-1253752 (1).jpg

Arrive into Marrakech Airport, where our trusted driver will be waiting to bring you to your traditional riad-style accommodation. Once you’ve checked in, take the afternoon to settle, unwind, or step straight into the magic of the city.

Explore the winding souks filled with colourful spices, handwoven textiles, lantern-lit stalls, and local artisans at work. As the sun begins to set, Marrakech’s iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square comes to life — storytellers, musicians, and performers filling the air with energy and rhythm. It’s an unforgettable introduction to Morocco’s vibrant spirit.

In the evening, you’ll meet your hosts and the rest of the group. We’ll share a relaxed dinner, connect, and chat through the adventure that awaits as we prepare to journey into the Sahara together.

Day 2 - Journey to Dades Gorge (5 hrs 30 mins)

Dades valley.jpg

After breakfast, we begin our scenic journey out of Marrakech and toward the breathtaking landscapes of the High Atlas. The drive is a beautiful experience in itself — winding through mountain passes, sweeping valleys, and tiny villages where life moves slowly and traditionally.

We’ll pause along the way for Moroccan tea, stretch our legs, and take in the panoramic views that unfold at every turn. As we continue deeper into the mountains, you’ll feel the energy of the city soften into peaceful silence.

By late afternoon, we arrive in the Dades region — a dramatic landscape known for its rock formations, glowing orange cliffs, and serene atmosphere. Your accommodation here is nestled among nature, with a calming pool area perfect for relaxing after the journey.

In the early evening, we gather for a gentle yoga session overlooking the gorge. As the sun sets and the colours shift across the rocks, you’ll unwind into stillness and reconnect with your breath.

DAY 3 — Arrival in Merzouga (4 hr 10 mins)

pexels-the-trvlr-5614643.jpg

After breakfast, we leave the mountains behind and begin our journey south toward the golden dunes of the Sahara. The landscape shifts dramatically along the way — from rugged valleys and rocky plateaus to the wide, open plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. We’ll pause for Moroccan tea along the route, stretching our legs and taking in the ever-changing scenery.

By mid-afternoon, we arrive at the edge of the Sahara, where the iconic dunes of Merzouga welcome us. Here, you can settle into your desert camp, relax, or take a gentle stroll to absorb the unique stillness of the desert landscape. Later, enjoy a calm yoga session amidst the dunes, letting the warm desert light and peaceful surroundings guide your practice.

As the sun begins to dip toward the horizon, we embark on a short camel trek into the dunes. Watch the sky shift through hues of gold, orange, and pink as you glide over the sand. Returning to camp, dinner is served, and the night is yours to soak in the infinite stars — perhaps with live desert music, quiet reflection, or simple relaxation under the clear desert sky.

Day 4 - Full Desert Experience & Sunset in Merzouga (Staying in Merzouga, local excursions)

pexels-walidphotoz-847402.jpg

Wake early to greet the desert sunrise, where soft light spreads across the dunes and the quiet of the Sahara invites deep breath and reflection. Begin the day with yoga or a guided meditation in this serene environment — a perfect way to align body, mind, and spirit.

The day unfolds with a full desert experience: explore the dunes on foot, take a 4×4 excursion through remote areas, or visit nearby desert villages to witness local life and traditions. There’s also the option to meet a nomadic family, share Moroccan tea, and learn about life in the Sahara — a rare and unforgettable cultural immersion.

In the late afternoon, we gather for a sunset camel tour, drifting slowly across the dunes as the sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant colors. Return to camp for dinner and an evening under the stars — perhaps listening to traditional desert music, journaling, or simply letting the desert’s silence sink in.

Day 5 - Ouarzazate Exploration & Overnight Stay (Approx. 5 hr 20 min drive from Merzouga)

pexels-rperucho-6095568.jpg

After a final breakfast in the desert, we leave Merzouga and travel toward Ouarzazate. The journey takes us through shifting landscapes — from desert sands to palm oases, rocky plateaus, and scenic valleys — with stops along the way to stretch, take photos, and enjoy the views.

Arriving in Ouarzazate by midday, we explore the highlights of this cinematic region: visit a historic kasbah, wander local markets, and enjoy a guided tour of the famous film studios where many international movies and series were filmed. For a peaceful contrast to the desert, we may also visit nearby oases or palm groves, offering a serene escape and a chance to connect with nature.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at your accommodation and relax after a full day of exploration. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate gives you time to unwind and reflect on the journey so far, preparing for your return to Marrakech the following day.

DAY 6 — Return to Marrakech & Farewell
(Approx. 3 hr 25 min drive from Ouarzazate)

pexels-askar-abayev-5638465.jpg

After breakfast in Ouarzazate, we begin the final leg of our journey back to Marrakech. The drive takes us through scenic valleys, palm groves, and winding roads that offer a last chance to soak in the Moroccan landscape one final time.

Arriving in Marrakech in the early afternoon, you’ll have a short window to revisit favorite spots, pick up any last souvenirs, or enjoy a final stroll through the vibrant streets of the city.

We gather one last time to reflect on the journey, share memories, and say farewell. This is your moment to celebrate the connections you’ve made, the experiences you’ve had, and the transformation that this retreat has offered.

Guests then depart for their onward travels, carrying the stillness of the desert, the magic of Morocco, and the inspiration of the week with them.
