What is Harmonious Breathwork?

Breathwork refers to a wide variety of breathing exercises and techniques that are done for the purpose of breath control. Here at Harmonious Wellbeing, we utilise conscious connected breathing, a technique similar to Wim Hof Method, but without the breath holds.

You might be wondering how breathwork works. Many of us develop shallow breathing patterns over time, which can contribute to stress and trigger the "fight-or-flight" response.

With conscious connected breathing, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system, responsible for the "rest and digest" state, helping to balance our nervous system.
